Meet the new king of Malaysia

Being born a Malaysian, I am very proud of this little country eventhough I had to give up my citizenship in 2003. Under Malaysia's rotational monarchy, the heads of each of the nine hereditary states occupy the throne for five years.

The king's role is largely ceremonial, with power in the hands of parliament and the prime minister.

Malaysia is the only country in the world to have a rotating monarchy.

I feel that this tradition is very fair.

My chessy girlie movies

I love cheesy movie and I know some of you know that. So, I recorded the "Prince and Me 2: Royal Wedding." Let me say, it is not the same without Julia Stiles. The new girl is pretty lame. But the prince is still HOT. They even have a new queen. This SUCKS!!!

Other than that, a bunch of us went to support Dining Out for Life. 33% of our dinner bill goes to various AIDS foundations in the area. We went to A Full Plate Cafe for dinner and I really enjoyed this restaurant. After a few of us went to Azure and I am neglecting to say the bar Carl recommended sucks. When we were at Azure, we ran into Mike and Rachel. With Mike, it is more like Carl chase him down but I had a great time. It is nice to have the gang together again.

My visit with my nuerosurgeon

It was a successful visit. The doctors and radiologist has confirm Kenny, the tumor is not a health treat. He can be a permanent resident in my brain for now. We will examine his condition and size in six months and after that if Kenny decide to stay in his petite tumor body, he can become a citizen of my brain.

But due to my headaches... I have to see a nuero-optomologist on the 19th. I was warn that I will be there for 3 hours of pure joy sitting with Carl in dilated eyes. Seems like the next two weeks, I have 1- 2 doctors' appt.

What a week!!!

We were told on Monday that our new home will be delay till June/July delivery. I also realized that we will be homeless because our apartment has been rented out. So, panic!! Thank goodness for wonderful friends, who are willing to share their space with us. On Wednesday, I spoke with our Apartment manager and she told us she won't kick us out and will tell the new tenant to take a look at another place. Whew! By Friday, I got an email from our manager that we have to check out another unit. The new tenant won't give up and might bring legal in. Yikes! No place to live again! By Saturday, I spoke to her... we will be moving downstairs. Not so bad and Carl decided he will unpack so a little. We might be staying till August or September.

In the mist of hell, Tuesday, Dena cooked a delicious Passover meal. Got a bit drunk from all those glasses of wine that I have to chug. I don't prefer to chug wine maybe tequilla. Let's bring some to Seder next time!

Thursday was girls' night and I was the organizer. Yay! So, we went to bump for $3 Martini. YUMM! Have 5 and felt fantastic! Karin found out our fabulous waiter was a DJ from her hometown, Kansas City. She used to listen to him every morning.

Saturday, we went dancing with Karin and Karen at the 700 club. I love that place! We use to hang out there alot during college years and after. We stop for several years because no one seem to want to go dancing until NOW. Now I found dancing friends and we can go back often. It is crampy at a certain time and sometimes... you will find one rude person that you want to smack. The best part there is no more smoking in there anymore.
