Septa Strike Day 1-5

I have been walking to and fro from home except Monday. Carl was kind enough to pick me up but unfortunately we learned fast... we were stuck in traffic for 1 hour. It usually take us 15 minutes to get back to Northern Liberties from the Free Library. So, Carl went on strike for driving. Dena became my walking home buddy. I counted the miles and the total miles I have done so far is almost 5.4 miles a day. The good thing that came from this strike is I will lose the weight I needed. Carl kept his promise and wait for me at his job at 4th and Market and walk the rest of the miles with me home. Thank God the weather has been nice! I have not yet felt the need to ride the library, illegal immigrant shuttle yet, as Lamont called it .
