A new job!

Last week I went for an interview at MBNA for a consulting job and within two hours I received the news that I was offered the job. I was so excited, you should hear me scream on the phone with Carl. I was half way laughing and screaming. I have no clue what kind of creature I sounded like. I told Jen and Dena and my cousin Jo and my dad and MIke D. Than after the excitement the scary moment of being a consultant and leaving the library sets in. No Vacation, No Sick. UGH!! But working for MBNA I can't pass that up and this is working on the website for the merging with Bank of America. I will be a Graphic User Interface Designer. I will be a GUID. Sound that out!

About FLP! When you work for a company for so long and a comfortability level sets in. It almost feels like HOME but you know you have to leave eventually. You can stay forever. Not only that but all the cool friendships that I have made at FLP. Restaurant week trip! Recipes Exchange!

I will miss my arguments with Jen and Lamont! Lamont I will miss your stinky fish meal...Yeah right! Laura, thank you for taking me and trusting me just because I know what a jpeg image is. I will miss Jen telling me she is hungry and what do you want for lunch! I will miss Jim's sarcastic comments. I will miss my afternoon walk with Dena, Sally, and Rachel! Fancy dinners at RBD until Bill took it away. I will miss the Draper's teasing! Bugging Liz what are good books for Carl's teenage nieces and newphews! I have learned a lot at the Free Library of Philadelphia and I will miss everyone.

I will not buy you guys lavish gifts or dinners by the way. It is not goodbye but I will see you soon!! If it does not work out..Save me a spot!
