Engagement!

Well, who would have thought that after 7 years of dating, Carl would finally be ready to settle down. I almost gave up and was ready to move on. On my birthday, the boy said he was ready to commit. I was like what!!!!!?? I was totally clueless.

Ready for what? I told him to stop playing. We were at the store looking at jewelery and I was teasing and went looking at rings. He was ready to buy the ring. I freaked out. I told him to stop being a comedian. It was almost closing time. I feel bad for the sale guy and I told him this is a big purchase and Carl and I needed to TALK!!. So, we left and we were actually talking to his sister, Angel on the phone at the time. She was so excited. She was screeching and laughing. I did not think it was funny, honestly.

Actually I was freaking out. I was scared. We discuss and I asked him are you ready or am I preasuring you. I did not want to be one of those woman that was pressuring him to settle down. I want him to be at his own time. I don't want any regrets. He said I am my own person.
