A joke I played on Carl!

This weekend, Dena and I took a shopping trip to Christiana Mall in Delaware. Judy, when you come to visit, I will take you to on a trip Delaware if schedule permits to shop. It is the land of tax free shopping.

Here is the story... I am sure Dena and Rachel and Jen told. I went to Lord and Taylor to browse. Yes to browse! I saw jewelry (did I spell this right) sale. HE HE! 50% and extra 20% What a deal! So I saw this beautiful ring. It is a very modern style design band ring. The original price is $375 and I got it for $135. I love it. It has diamonds. I did not care who bought it for me. My parents or my aunt or Carl but I was buying it. I was getting money from family members anyway so why not for my big 30th birthday. I told Dena I was going to bill Carl as well.

I got home that night before Carl. When he got back. I said to him "Thank you" for your nice gift. I hid my finger from him. He said what did you and Dena do now. I gave him the bag with the receipt and the box. He was puzzle when he look at the box and the receipt. I told him he owe me the money. I gave him the ring. He said that was a nice ring. He was a bit tipsy. He HE!!!

I gave him my right hand and said he should get on his knees. He told me to go to Hell! Anyway, the poor sucker put it on my right finger and I told him that since he put it on my right ring finger, we are engaged. Don't take it seriously folks! It is a joke. I love my ring. It is a birthday gift! Just another funny story to tell you.
