what a weekend!!!

This is our long weekend and we celebrated Martin Luther King's Day.

We began the weekend on Saturday, by taking Dena to the Italian Market to pick up the Turducken and brussel sprouts for the MLK feast day on Sunday. Later that day, we had friends over for football and Xbox games festival. Our friends' Rodrigo and Kim, brought their pup over.

Sunday was the Turducken festival. You might wonder what is a Turducken. It is a Turkey stuff with a duck and stuff with a chicken. Everyone came over for the dinner and it was als potluck night. I made the brussel sprouts. Dena was here early to make the Turducken because she was the host. My goal was not to make anything and I think I achieve some of it. I help her making some of the main course. We have green bean casserole, mash potatoes, brussel sprouts, black forrest cake, bread pudding with whiskey sauce, salad, tofurkey for vegan friends, and cheesy corn. We ate, watch football, play Xbox, and played Cranium. We also managed to keep everyone happy with the computers in the household.

Monday, we went out for a meat festival at Fogo de Chao. OMG!! It was delicious. 11 people join and it was fantastic. After wards, we went to see the new house. Actually, the show home. It was fabulous time and now we can go in a food coma.

Next Saturday, Carl and I will sign the documents for the new home.
